KLASYKA DOKUMENTU
Experiencing film classics is one of the basic needs of every cinephile. At the OFF CINEMA Festival, this need will be met by the accompanying section: "Classics" - ground-breaking and most important titles for documentaries shown during special screenings. This year, our historical focus is on the United States at the end of the 20th century - on the cinema of Godfrey Reggio, the author of the iconic Qatsi trilogy described as "magical films without words", in a digitally restored version. You will also have a chance to see the big screen debut of the most controversial documentary filmmaker of his time, Michael Moore. His film "Roger & Me" will offer a look at the confrontation between the American Dream and the everyday life. The introduction to this documentary will be provided by Piotr Pławuszewski, PhD.
