FILMS ABOUT FILMS
This year’s programme of film documentaries is an opportunity to find out about the achievements and the role of acclaimed directors as seen by their fellow filmmakers. We are going to explore the horror world of Dario Argento’s and the unconventional creative process of Michel Gondry’s. A two-time visit to the Cannes Film Festival—at four decades apart, in 1982 and 2022—will reveal what the filmmaker(s) thought about the state of cinema at the time. Also, we will spend time with a great personality of cinema, the outstanding Polish actor Andrzej Seweryn, watching his daily life on the other side of the camera.
