OFF CINEMA 2024: Film otwarcia + Kino bez barier
The accessibility of films is gaining increasing traction in the cinema industry and, being among the Polish pioneers in this field, we cannot allow the inaugurating screening of the 28th OFF CINEMA to be wanting in that respect. Everyone will be able to participate in the opening without barriers and discover the story of Wanda Rutkiewicz—the first woman of the world and the first Pole to reach the Earth’s highest peaks—thanks to Wanda Rutkiewicz. The Last Expedition. Since we believe that anyone can conquer peaks, everyone should also be able to go to the cinema. The screening will be held with audio description and Polish Sign Language translation. PSL interpreters will also be there afterwards, during a meeting with the director, Eliza Kubarska, and the president of the Wandalistki Foundation, Daria Sieracka. Tickets for the opening screening will cost PLN 5, just as for other screenings of Cinema Without Barriers.
