Latem 2007 roku zmarła moja babka ze strony matki. Lata mijały, a jej wnuki dorastały ignorując fakt, że śmierć babki była finalnym pokłosiem tajemnicy, która ciążyła na rodzinie od 1999 roku.

In the summer of 2007 my maternal grandmother passed away. Years went through and her grandchildren grew up ignoring the fact that their grandmother’s death had been the final consequence of a secret that hunted the family since 1999.

More than 40 years ago, Bas Jan Ader decided to go on an adventure. In a tiny sailing boat, the Dutchman set sail across the ocean. Nine months later the boat was found adrift at sea. There was no sign of Ader.

A meditative story on the theme of fading away. At the age of almost eighty, legendary sailor Captain Krzysztof Baranowski has no plans for retiring from the sea. Instead, he’s doing his utmost to build a tremendous new sail training ship which will serve upcoming generations.
